I went to Thailand in 1999, ostensibly to train in a Thai boxing camp for a few weeks with a club from south London.

Not long after I'd joined a Thai boxing club, we went to a training camp in Thailand.

There was a split in the group after Bangkok, as Pattaya was super grim, so half of us went to Ko Samui.
